When working with lasers, eye safety is crucial as it only takes a few femtoseconds to ruin your vision. Always know what wavelengths of light you are working with, and the maximum permissible exposure (MPE) based on the pulse duration. You can calculate the minimum OD you need for laser glasses using the pulse fluence and the MPE. See a summary in the file below.
