When working in a chemistry lab, it is essential that chemicals are labelled and stored properly to ensure the safety of the scientists handling the reagents. This is especially important when it comes to the chemical samples we prepare for experiments, which are often mixtures of several different components. This safety minute addresses the requirements set by CSU Environmental Health Services for labelling and storing hazardous chemical waste, as well as a few good practices for maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.
